The Spanish parliament recently passed a new law extending paternity leave from the present 15 days to 4 weeks starting from 2011. Traditionally, fathers in Spain can have 2 days off: the day when the child is born and the next. But in 2007, the Equality Law was passed and men had since been able to enjoy 15 days of paternity leave.(See photo
